Satellite TV Channel Belarus-24 participates in CSTB international media exhibition.
The exhibition opened in Moscow today. The forum covers all up-to-date formats and trends of telecommunication technologies. Today following the results of negotiations with partners it became known that Belarus-24 will be able to cover almost 100% of the Russian territory this year.
By Maxim Korotkin: The CSTB exhibition is basically an exhibition of achievements of television and telecommunication technologies. There they sell and buy, agree and conclude agreements, exchange views and practices. This year for the first time the Belarusian satellite channel comes into the international exhibition site. The Chairperson of Belteleradiocompany explains the essence of changing Belarus TV for Belarus 24 to journalists. (Gennady Davydko, Chairperson of Belteleradiocompany) One of the main priorities of the channel and the meaning of presence at the exhibition is the Russian market. Belarus-24 received the 10-year right to broadcast in Russia and considers expandability of broadcasts to the territory from Ural to the Pacific Ocean. Belarus TV was watched in the European part of the country, now there is an outlook with fair promise to satisfy the demand of residents of Siberia and the Far East.
